Folks, this jerky is pure California Gold! Why is that? Well for starters it’s made right here in California.
It’s garlicky without being overpowering on the garlic flavor and there’s a nice balance of savory and beefy flavor with a finishing flourish of peppery spiciness.
The jerky is tender, but not too soft, and once you start chewing it’s almost juicy, thanks to the brisket. The gourmet flavors are a bit reminiscent of the classic Santa Maria Style Tri Tip BBQ cooked over an open oak pit flame in that it combines the classic seasonings of garlic, salt and cracked black pepper plus some natural smoke flavor which rounds out the tasting fun.
